I’m finally releasing a version of OpenNetAdmin. It’s still very much a work in progress but it should still perform much better than a spreadsheet! I hope you find it useful, and please, send bug reports and feature requests. You can also post some comments to the forum. If you are upgrading from a previous version to v08.07.23, be aware that you must manually run the following from a command line prompt, after you have completed the web based install/upgrade:

ona/install/2-to-3.php

It will perform an upgrade of existing data. As always, BACK UP YOUR DATA FIRST! New installs do not need to run this.

A note to all ONA users. You will now notice when creating a new subnet that it might prompt to create an associated PTR zone. This is normal, just click ok to open the add domain dialog and hit save with the values it provides. The system now needs at least a top level PTR zone to store information against.

NOTE: It’s entirely possible that downloads will be slow. I’ve not yet had any real download traffic on this host so we’ll see what happens. If it’s nasty, I’ll move it to Sourceforge or something. If they are slow, let me know about it.
